Professional Profile

 As an engineer, I benefit from analyzing systems and quantitative data, comprehending its functions as a whole and identifying it´s key attributes, purely functional, rational. 
As a designer, I weigh the importance of emotion and esthetics. I enjoy the challenges that arise from being a Design Engineer but I love the need for innovation that the discipline seeks.
Because of my versatile background, I set upon a wide spectrum of projects, which I engage with enthusiasm, adopting methodologies and points of view depending on the project. Adaptability and variety has provided me with an assortment of skills from each area that helps me during the design process. I love learning and I am always open to new experiences. 
Currently I am coursing the Integrated Product Design masters program at the University of Pennsylvania, exited and expectant of the new possibilities.

EXPERIENCE

EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My Schooling

The institutions where I took courses and workshops have all formed me with a broad set of skills which make me competent for designing products through all the stages of the development process. 
The best part of it? Working with mentors and colleagues with different backgrounds on diverse projects, whom have contributed to my well-rounded formation.

MSE: INTEGRATED PRODUCT DESIGN, UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA

August 2015 - May 2017

This program strengthens students with an engineering background with the tools to apply that background to product design problems. During my studies at UPenn, I have deepened my skills in Design Research and narrowed my engineering skills to product design. I have additionally learned more about business and product management, manufacturing and have honed my rapid prototyping skills.

BACHELOR OF DESIGN ENGINEERING , UNIVERSIDAD TECNOLOGICA DE LA MIXTECA, OAXACA, MÉXICO.

August 2008 - July 2013

This program covers topics in product design, architectural design and graphic design. The study plan involves a series of creative subjects, the study of different materials such as ceramics, plastics, glass, wood, metal using traditional and advanced manufacturing methods, and bases itself on a strong foundation of theoretical physics and mathematics. 
The profile of the student is a professional who can take charge of the planning and production of all types of objects and habitable spaces as well as communicate visually the needs and feelings of user.
